BHP Chartered Accountants provide advisory, accounting, audit, tax, corporate finance and financial planning services to a broad range of business and not-for-profit organisations.

BHP have been in existence for over 150 years and have grown significantly over the years but remain ambitious to grow further. This ambition is assisted by the technology they use, which ensures they are able to keep developing their client service.

The organisation welcomes people who are looking to grow with them and this provides exciting opportunities for everyone who works at the firm. They pride themselves on the friendly but professional culture and work hard to make sure that everyone at BHP has a say in what goes on at the firm. Partners are genuinely accessible and interested in the people that they work with.

BHP's growth can largely be attributed to the employees that work for them. As a way of ensuring that their continued effort does not go unnoticed, the firm have created an employee recognition scheme called 'Above and Beyond'. The scheme allows any member of the team to buy a gift for a colleague, to a maximum value of £50 to say thank you when they have gone beyond what is usually expected from someone in their role. This does not require senior management approval and has been widely used since its introduction a few years ago.
