Bibby Financial Services (BFS) are the UK’s largest independent invoice finance company and a trusted financial services partner to more than 7,500 businesses in the UK.

Through their network of 18 local offices, BFS handle an annual client turnover of £5 billion and in 2016, passed on more than £3.1 billion to UK businesses helping them to grow.

The company’s wide range of experience enables them to help businesses unlock working capital for a range of requirements, including cash flow funding, new equipment purchasing, growth and expansion, overseas trade, management buy ins and buy outs, refinancing, corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions.

The company’s management programme helps colleagues with line manager responsibilities - and those aspiring to become line managers - to understand and develop leadership skills and behaviours required. Each month a learning cohort attends face-to-face sessions which focus on many different elements of management.
The Health Assured programme provides a range of services to tackle the symptoms of workplace stress, depression and anxiety. Measures include counselling, independent advice and a dedicated emotional health website. A newly launched Wellbeing Centre also provides a wealth of resources to support colleagues’ physical and mental health.

As part of BFS’s Wellbeing month, colleagues walked around the world (virtually). A bespoke software programme was commissioned and built internally so all team members could log their steps - together, colleagues walked over 24,900 miles, which meant they circumnavigated the globe within a single month.
