About Birmingham Hippodrome

Birmingham Hippodrome is a visitor destination, cultural hub and registered charity. The destination is one of the UK’s busiest multistage theatres, welcoming on average over 500,000 visitors every year. Their vision is of a vibrant world-class Birmingham arts scene with the Hippodrome centre stage.

They operate on a not-for-profit basis with a volunteer board of unpaid trustees. They do not receive revenue subsidy from Arts Council England or Birmingham City Council, but they work closely with both partners on specific projects, often all investing together. Their fundraising efforts, together with all surpluses (from their share of box office income and their bars, event hire and catering) are reinvested back to their charitable Hippodrome Projects.

From their amazing shows to their delicious catering, or their impactful conferences and incredible events, every experience at Birmingham Hippodrome is filled with flair, and they always provide unforgettable experiences that entertain, enrich and engage. As one of the most successful and popular theatres in the world, they are perfectly placed with their numerous partners, to expand their reach, deepen engagement and make a big difference to people’s lives.
