About Black Country Housing Group

Black Country Housing Group Ltd are a social housing and care provider association that work closely with local communities in Birmingham and the Black Country. They provide affordable housing for rent, new homes for sale and a diverse a range of specialist local services.

They have five strategic objectives for the organisation. The first is to deliver quality, high-performing digitally enhanced services, and safe and secure homes. The second is to deliver high-quality caring services that meet individual needs. Next, they aim to be an excellent employer that invests in colleagues and creates a flexible and supportive working environment. Fourthly they strive to be an efficient and innovative business delivering value for money. Their final objective is to support communities to be sustainable and prosperous.

Through staff conferences, care conferences, sports days, team planning sessions and progress reviews, Black Country Housing Group give colleagues a voice and an opportunity to contribute to the direction of the association.

Their Chief Executive Officer Amanda Tomlinson is passionate about Black Country Housing Group being a great place to work and takes time to engage with colleagues. She visits their remote locations, often taking chocolates and biscuits to recognise the efforts of staff members.
