About Chartered Management Institute

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) are the only chartered professional body dedicated to raising standards of management and leadership across all sectors by setting professional management standards.

The institute believes the world puts huge emphasis on performance and demands more skills than ever before. However, too many managers do not get the guidance they need to tackle their challenging roles. They want to end this paradox and help managers to stop simply getting by and start excelling.

More than 60 years ago, they developed the UK’s very first diploma in management studies, and in the years that followed, they have constantly been at the forefront of all aspects of management training and thinking.

Today, they have more than 100,000 managers using their unique services on a daily basis.

The CMI have offices in London and Corby. Their Chief Executive Officer is Ann Francke.
