Childbase Partnership are a childcare and education group with over 42 facilities across the UK. They aim to be the preferred provider of childcare and education services within the communities they serve and the preferred employer of childcare professionals within the sector.

State-of-the-art innovative learning through play programmes in imaginative age-appropriate spaces, both in and outdoors, ensure children of all ages are happy and confident at Childbase. They also aim to attract, develop and retain high-quality, engaged partners, whilst promoting Childbase Partnership as the employer of choice within the Childcare sector.

Regular charity events throughout the year allow colleagues to step outside their comfort zone and attempt new activities/experiences that enhance personal development. Abseiling buildings, hiking mountains and sleeping ‘rough’ for the night are all activities that took place in 2017.

Nappy waste accounts for the largest proportion of waste (30%) and is a genuinely challenging type for the childcare industry. As of September 2017, 100% of nappies at Childbase Partnership are now diverted from landfill.

Around £142,000 has been paid out to employees who went beyond expectations in the last year. Employees who reach a milestone in their years of service will receive a paid day off and a ‘Childbase Beyond Expectations’ reward, which starts at £100 for five years’ service and goes up to £1,500 for 25 years.
