Based in Chelmsford, Essex, CHP are a locally managed charitable housing association. CHP were established in 2002 to deliver a core social purpose of meeting housing needs by providing homes for rent and sale.
The mission at CHP is simply to 'Transform lives'. They work across the county of Essex to help local communities and families thrive. Everyone deserves to live in a high quality, affordable home and CHP aim to help tackle the housing crisis and provide excellent services for customers.
Employees who work for CHP have very different responsibilities but all work together to help their customers, whether it's fixing a repair, managing a tenancy or building new homes.
CHP has developed it's own graduate programme recently, where employees will be working together on developing the organisations 'Environmental Sustainability' strategy as well as a number of other corporate projects. Each graduate is being mentored by a member of the leadership team, including the CEO. These employees are becoming specialists in their field by spending a two year placement in one area. As well as undertaking professional qualifications, these employees are completing the ILM Level 3 leadership qualification.
