CityWest’s Executive Team demonstrate their commitment to the principles of the organisation by involving all their people in the development of the latest vision, mission and strategy. They did this through a series of 19 roadshows, which all employees attended and used feedback from the roadshows to develop a clear vision and strategy. Their values underpin everything they do and their Executive Team lead by example by coaching and guiding, congratulating people for a job well done and listening to their customers and employees. All the Executive Team do at least one back to the floor day a year where they work with a frontline team. The Chief Executive engages with employees in a number of ways, such as meeting all employees through the 19 roadshows to ensure their input shapes the company strategy, holding a people conference for all employees which includes a TV style interview by a member of staff to get to know the Chief Executive as a person, providing regular intranet updates, attending team meetings, working from the kitchen at Head Office and attending community events.
