About CLS Care Services Limited

What is it like to work for CLS Care Services Limited

My Manager
My Manager
The achievement of individuals and teams is recognised informally during one-to-one meetings with managers and formally through the organisation's performance review and appraisal processes. The introduction of ‘Special Awards’ at the Group’s Annual Awards Ceremony also affords the opportunity to pay tribute to managers and their teams who have gone that ‘extra mile’ in delivering outstanding service to customers and support for their colleagues. Managers hold regular ‘One to One’ meetings with team members which afford the opportunity to agree priorities; identify support and encourage development. Team meetings are held to encourage peer support and engage team members in setting and refining objectives. Managers’ coach team members and mentor new or inexperienced managers. They promote team work by readily ‘stepping in’ to help their team and support other managers when they are experiencing difficulties. They also take the time to get to know their team members and what makes them ‘tick’ and encourage individuals to realise their potential and promote development opportunities.
Personal Growth
Personal Growth
The organisation supports employee development and has adopted a ‘coaching for improved performance’ approach to people management and development. This approach is understood to be an on-going process, not a series of one-off events and team members record their development journey in the ‘My Personal Development Journal’. Annual Performance Development Reviews focus on individual team members' achievements and development is encouraged by granting people responsibility and authority to take on projects that interest them.

CLS currently have a contract with Occupational Health Unit who also provide speedier access to physiotherapy (the majority of sickness is muscular skeletal) and counselling (the second most common reason for sickness is anxiety/depression/stress).
