About Compassion UK

What is it like to work for Compassion UK

My Team
My Team
Compassion UK encourage teams to go through Gallup strength finders to enable teams to work together more effectively, by recognising how each other work and by valuing each other’s strengths and utilising them. As an organisation, they hold quarterly business reviews where the quarterly achievements of each team are highlighted and then looking forward to activity to the next quarter. These are made as interactive as possible and each one has a different theme. Recently they did a project day theme (which is the project programme one of the sponsored children would have in the overseas countries they work in). They had a welcome (Ugandan style), letter writing, (in the projects, when the children receive letters and then write to sponsors) each of their team managers wrote a card to their team showing appreciation. The company also hold a staff retreat day to set the vision for the next year and focus, this is held offsite.
