All employees work with the Total Performance Management framework which provides a way for managers to identify high performers, manage teams better and for individuals to develop in line with their aspirations and that of the company. Personal development plans, regular feedback and 360 degree feedback is also used to develop employees. Internal management training is undertaken on performance management and appraisals as well as more specific training on project management, workshop facilitation, Excel, power point and other technical training. Training is also provided during internal lunchtime sessions and there is a library of books and periodicals available for employees to use as well as access to an online library to assist learning.

ACE (Awesome Concentra Employee) Awards are voted on every Quarter. Employees vote for who they feel has gone above and beyond the call of duty during that period and who is a pleasure to work with. Winners are announced at the end of the quarter company meeting and given a prize.

Concentra's reward strategy includes a mixture of financial and non-financial ways in which to recognise staff; from a simple thank you and encouragement from line managers and directors to benchmarking salaries across the organisation and market to ensure that all are competitive and paid fairly. Salaries are reviewed on an annual basis or every 6 months if a rapid developer or promotion; and they operate a bonus scheme for some roles which is discretionary and based on a mixture of company and individual performance. This ensures that everyone understands that they have an influence over their reward.
