Established in 1998, Eugene Corasanti was responsible for the founding of Conmed in New York, where the first product made was the disposable ECG monitoring electrode.

The business specialises in the development and sale of surgical and patient monitoring products and services that allow customers to deliver high-quality care that enhances clinical outcomes for patients.

They manufacture and sell medical products for use in a wide range of surgical specialities, including orthopaedics, laparoscopy, robotic and open surgery, gastroenterology and pulmonology, and cardiology and critical care. Their customers include the NHS and private medical sector.
