About Consolidated PR

What is it like to work for Consolidated PR

My Manager
My Manager

Managers work with each employee to assess performance, set objectives and monitor progress. They monitor on a weekly and monthly basis in advance and in arrears, working to spot anomalies and manage extra requirements using spare capacity in the business or deploy freelance support. They meet monthly to discuss performance and development as a formal agenda point. They informally walk the floors to ensure that people are not here when they shouldn't be. Team meetings are held to discuss areas of concern and create shared solutions to particular problems. They also regularly catch up with individuals outside formal reviews to discuss interim feedback and any other issues. Employees are rewarded and recognised and the members of staff or teams that have most displayed the company's values or done something to help achieve the mission are rewarded with champagne.

My Team
The organisation held a Summer Away Day which was a pirate adventure along the Thames. They took a boat from Richmond to Teddington and everyone in the company was encouraged to join a team, pick a theme, dress up, create their own flags, Pirate themed chat up lines and jokes and join a hunt for doubloons and many other games and pirate distractions. Awards were handed out for best dressed man and woman, most piratical team name etc. They then spent a wonderful sunny afternoon in a pub by the river before the more adventurous headed out to the bright lights of London.

Giving Something Back
Giving Something Back
The company organises and pays for one charity initiative each year which anyone in the agency can join. They believe passionately that the event should put something back into the local community where they work. On the surface Covent Garden, and the borough of Camden, where they are headquartered, is a wealthy and vibrant part of London. Behind the scenes it is home to many disadvantaged and under-privileged people and children. Their Give Day is designed to undertake a project which makes an immediate, if small, difference to the community. In the past they have cleared ponds in local parks, doing work that would otherwise need to be paid for by scarce resources, or painted local community facilities which again would need to be paid for from limited funds.
