About Currencycloud

Currencycloud have created the world’s most trusted global payments platform that can be easily integrated into the next generation of business payment companies.

Their goal is to provide the necessary expertise, tools and support on which digital banks and retail payments companies can build and scale their own businesses globally.

Currencycloud was born in 2011 out of FX Capital Group, a brokerage firm founded by Nigel Verdon, who believed there was a fundamental problem in the way international payments were made.

Today the company has a range of core values that guide their day-to-day work, including: be fanatically focused; own it; think like leaders; better together; never sit still; and be human.

The company are focused on developing their own staff, and have a comprehensive development plan, aimed at building confidence and leadership capability amongst staff.

Currencycloud are based in London and are led by CEO Mike Laven.
