Established in 1961, David Nieper are a premium British fashion brand for the mature ladies market. The company designs and makes premium quality British clothing for women over the age of 50 who desire to look and feel confident, comfortable and elegant.
The brand, based in Derbyshire and with three sites across the UK, is committed to quality and sustainable production, and promoting the knowledge and skills of past and future generations through jobs, education and investment in people, industry and the community.
Some 230 people - including designers, garment cutters, dressmakers and seamstresses - are employed at the company’s Derbyshire factory. To say thank you to staff, David Napier host the annual company event which involves every employee and vary from year to year in 2017 the event included was a hog roast and film in a marquee.
Founder and CEO of the company David Napier remains the Creative Director, while his son Christopher Nieper has been the Managing Director for over 15 years.
