DCSL design bespoke, intelligent, cost-effective and intuitive web, desktop and mobile applications that help streamline processes for businesses as well as create new revenue streams for start-ups and established businesses.
DCSL Software started over 25 years ago and grew slowly until 2013 when then employee, Nick Thompson, purchased the business from DCSL's previous owners. The plan was, and continues to be, to grow the company as quickly as possible whilst still delivering a consistently high-quality service and maintaining a fantastic working environment. Today, with almost 100 employees, from juniors through to software industry veterans, DCSL has become a destination company to work for.
The organisation puts great emphasis on showing appreciation to employees for the continued hard work throughout the year. DCSL have a monthly 'Unsung Hero Award'. Every month, a survey is sent to every employee to ask if someone has been their 'Unsung Hero' for that month. The responses are collected, and the board of directors score every response. The employee with the highest score is the 'Unsung Hero' for that month, receiving a trophy and vouchers. Every nominee receives the message which got them nominated.
