DFS are a leading upholstery retailer in the UK, passionate about making and selling high quality, great-looking sofas since 1969.

Already established as a household name in the UK and with 144 sites across the country, the company’s vision is to become a world-class British company.

Headquartered in Doncaster, the company’s three values which staff are encouraged to follow are: go the extra mile for customers, always treat each other with respect, and strive to be world-class in everything they do.

DFS are led by Chief Executive Officer Ian Filby, who personally makes visits to each of the DFS branches, factories and distribution sites whenever he can and spends time talking to team members. Ian is also an active member on the company’s ‘Workplace’ platform, where he keeps in contact with all employees and personally uploads a monthly update via video link.
