About DigitasLBi

What is it like to work for DigitasLBi

My Manager
My Manager
Managers work with their teams to agree objectives. They communicate regularly what good performance looks like, using the Skills Profiles booklet, and offer rewards through the recognition scheme, ensuring that good work is recognised publicly on a monthly basis. Managers also use their team meetings and all-staff meetings as a platform to tell the rest of the agency about their good performers.

This year, as part of DigitasLBi's engagement programme, they introduced their special ‘red boxes’, containing four beautifully produced booklets detailing how colleagues can make the most of their career at DigitasLBi. The first booklet, Quality Conversations is a guide to performance management, describing how to set your objectives and make the most of your performance review. The second, Thanks Everyone, is a guide to theirrecognition scheme. The third is The Constitution, a guide to working at DigitasLBi which explains their culture, values and ways of working. The final booklet is the Skills Profile, which details the attributes they expect their people to demonstrate at each level within the organisation. All DigitasLBi learning and development initiatives link back and align to the skills profiles and the specific skills areas: People, Business Acumen, Delivery and Craft. Our learning programmes underpin the relevant skill area attributes, ensuring their colleagues can track their progress and levels of attainment. For example, they put their Leader level people managers through a management development programme which gives them the skills to: develop and coach their team, help the team set individual goals and identify and tackle poor performance – these are all measurable attributes detailed in the Skills Profiles booklet. By being open with all colleagues about what it takes to succeed here, DigitasLBi make sure that everyone has the opportunity to do well.

My Team
My Team
DigitasLBi really value taking a break from work and having fun with their colleagues. Their colleagues have organised numerous team building events throughout the last year. They recently had their Sports Day. They were rained off but that didn’t dampen the mood – they just brought the fun inside! Four teams of competitive colleagues fought hard to win prizes for various physical challenges. DigitasLBi recently brought in Art Macabre to run a life drawing workshop with a twist – Death Drawing. Colleagues from all departments grabbed their pencils and paper and got to work, producing a series of pretty stunning drawings. Twice yearly they run the Big Clean, with everyone stopping for 30 minutes to clear up the agency. Everyone gets involved, and they have music playing to make it fun. They create IT graveyards for old equipment, charity areas and recycling areas. Colleagues take great pride in getting their work stations sparkling, and the best areas win prizes. Other team building events they’ve held this year include: Bowling trips, Karaoke, Go-karting, Thames river boat cruises,Jack the Ripper tours, A Fiesta Mexicana party in our basement,Wake boarding in London’s Docklands,Creative writing workshops.
