Leadership
Robin Greenhalgh started with Duplo back in 1983 at the age of 21 with a view to learning the business from his father. His initial role was to train to be an engineer in order to visit the customers to repair the equipment. He then learnt the office operation and excelled in the accounts department. Since that time he took over responsibility for direct sales eventually moving into the position of Chairman of Duplo. His distinctive, friendly, can do, open and enthusiastic personality make for a unique and caring leader. His enthusiasm for the business shines through, it is infectious and creates a feeling of family with all Duplo people. Robin loves being positive and finds it hard to be anything else. He is well known and admired in the industry. Robin can employ and engage the right people for their business because they want to work for Duplo and him.
Giving Something Back
Duplo's building has sun scoops, air scoops, solar panels and heat pumps. Duplo International are a founder member of the Two Sides organisation. It shows that the print and paper industry is one of the only truly sustainable industries that exists.
