About Durham Tees Valley Community Rehabilitation Company

Durham Tees Valley Community Rehabilitation Company provide probation services to meet court sentencing requirements for around 4,000 geographically defined offenders.

In 2010, the two probation areas of Durham and Teesside merged to form Durham Tees Valley Probation Trust - one of the highest performing probation areas in the country. In 2014, the trust became Durham Tees Valley Community Rehabilitation Company, and in 2015, Achieving Real Change in Communities took over ownership.

Their vision is to enable people to participate in a positive future. They do this by working to reduce reoffending and protect the public, and believe that by supporting participants their communities will be safer.

They employ colleagues who are highly-skilled and bring a wealth of experience in managing participants to achieve the best outcomes for local communities and the individuals themselves.

The organisation is led by Chief Executive Bronwen Elphick.
