Ecclesiastical have a company-wide reward and recognition programme which runs annually and recognises those individuals who really stand out. The company have an online training resource which offers guides to support line managers. They also have an employee assistance programme.
In 2012 the company launched the Ecclesiastical 125 Fund. This is a charitable foundation administered and run by the Gloucestershire Community Foundation. The Fund has clear areas of focus which it supports. There is a clear screening and application process. Grants given through the fund are evaluated thoroughly. Through the fund Ecclesiastical is focusing its charitable giving. Rather than giving to different causes with different objectives and levels of impact, they are focusing their effort behind some core issues important to their business, their customers and their communities and they are ensuring the investment they are making in their local communities is really making a difference.
