About ESRI (UK) Limited

What is it like to work for ESRI (UK) Limited

Giving Something Back
Giving Something Back
ESRI (UK) is committed to operating as a sustainable long-term business through their current and future environmental initiatives and policies. All Company offices are monitored to achieve energy efficiency. This includes the regular servicing of heating equipment and having recycling points throughout the Company’s offices and rest areas for the collection of paper, cardboard and other recyclable materials. Drink dispensers use recyclable cups and all photo-copy paper is 100% recycled. The disposal of obsolete office equipment is undertaken by an accredited Environmental Management System and redundant office furniture and office equipment is given to Green-Works, a not-for-profit organisation that redistributes it to Third World countries. The Company has strong relationships with a number of local schools in the Aylesbury area and regularly invites a number of students to undertake work experience in the company. In addition, the Company supports one local school by providing a free venue and access to expertise in business and finance to help the students run their own company through Young Enterprise. The Company works with a number of local charities, including the local branches of national charities such as the NSPCC to help raise money. ESRI (UK) will match the amount donated by employees and visitors at coffee mornings held throughout the year.

Employees are rewarded in various ways. Milestone recognition is given by the Managing Director or Director who will make a short presentation and give the employee a card and gift from the Company and their fellow employees. There are also discretionary bonuses and gestures of thanks. The Company may also reward an employee if their suggestion to their newly formed Business Innovation Panel is adopted by the Company. This new forum allows employees to make a real contribution to driving innovation and making improvements in the business.
