Family Action transforms lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across the country.
The organisation have been building stronger families for over 150 years and today work with over 45,000 families through over 140 community-based services. Thousands more are supported financially through their national small grants programmes. Reaching out to those in need, Family Action strengthen families and communities, build skills and resilience and improve the life chances of everyone they work with.
Family Action have a strong and successful history of building stronger families and as they look to the future, their values and behaviours define them, and underpin all the work that they do. The organisation have a recognition awards programme that rewards employees for behaving in line with their values. The winners are invited to an awards ceremony with a free lunch and the CEO presents the awards. Employees receive a star-shaped award with their name and the title of the award on it.
