Like most organisations, FC Exchange sets monthly and annual targets. However these targets, like a large plate of food, can be daunting and seem unachievable. To break these targets into more digestible chunks and provide a means by which teams and individuals can celebrate successes more frequently and thus be more motivated, each Friday FC Exchange provides lunch for teams hitting their weekly targets. An added component that is brought into play to highlight individual performances is done by the person with the best performance choosing the restaurant and the person with the lowest performance in the team having to arrange the ordering of the food and if required collect the order from the restaurant. This specific approach to company targets has been particularly effective at motivating new starters. Targets broken down into more realistic chunks significantly reduced the pressure on newcomers to FC Exchange and also enthused them through success celebrations.
