About Fidessa plc

Fidessa provide trading systems and solutions to banks and brokers. Financial institutions trust the company to provide them with multi-asset trading and investment infrastructure, market data and analysis, and workflow technology.

The company launched in Surrey in 1999 and has since expanded to three offices around the UK. It describes its primary purpose as being the leading, trusted supplier of specialised, open financial applications and business services to all members of the financial community regardless of their size.

Fidessa’s core principles include: teamwork and collaboration; service; commitment and dedication; excellence; and innovation.

The company is led by Chief Executive Officer Chris Aspinwall, who is described as being very approachable. He clearly enjoys engaging with employees at all levels of the business and, along with the other directors, sits in the open-plan office with other employees so that he can be part of what is happening on a day-to-day basis.
