F M Conway work closely with local community based charities on open days and site visits. They have a specialist division dedicated to environmental issues. F M Conway are Silver Award Holders under the London Mayor’s Green Procurement Code. The also recycle all their construction waste into aggregates etc. for reuse in Highway schemes. F M Conway have the only facility in the UK that uses their own wet waste recycling plant that recycles waste water from their gully cleaning activities. They support local authorities in providing solutions that minimise the impact of construction waste on the environment.
To ensure that employees feel they are rewarded for their efforts there is an employee of the quarter and staff bonus scheme. F M Conway encourage employees to use their holiday entitlement, they monitor working hours and provide additional part time, temp assistance when required. They discourage a long hours culture.
