About Fundamentals Limited

Fundamentals are a voltage control and power systems engineering company that delivers products, services and solutions to the electrical power industry. Key customers include Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Transmission System Operators (TSOs), power generators, and industrial and private network owners and operators.

The company as founded in 1994 by Nick Hiscock and Chris Goodfellow, following extensive operational careers with Southern Electricity. Today Fundamentals are led by Jon Hiscock and continue to focus on innovation, quality engineering and delivering for customers.

Based in Swindon, Wiltshire, the company has ambitious targets for continuous growth and development of further products and services around grid control.

The objective of the business is to improve the health and performance of the electrical power grid, and it aims to achieve this by adhering to a set of three all-important core values: go the extra mile, we are Fundamentals, and do the right thing.
