Internal coaching and mentoring is offered to employees on the ‘moving into management’ programme and they have access to ‘iTrent' manager self service tool. Managers are encouraged to obtain their ‘certificate in management’ with the assistance of pay and support in obtaining the qualification.

Genesis are passionate about helping and supporting their local community and the company actively encourages staff to support local projects. As part of their 2009/10 Corporate Social Responsibility target all staff members were targeted to spend 1 day volunteering for City Gateway or other charities of their choice. We have continued with our passion for volunteering in 2010-11 by continuing to encourage staff to volunteer and offer a range of volunteering opportunities throughout the year and they match up to £1000 of fund raising on each fund raising event.
