About Gloucester City Homes

Gloucester City Homes (GCH) are an independent registered housing association, which owns and manages 4,450 rented homes, 270 leasehold properties, 60 shared ownership properties, 30 commercial units and 52 homeless units.

The organisation became a housing association in March 2015 following 89% of tenants giving their support. They were originally established as an arm’s length management organisation in 2005 to deliver the government’s decent homes standard.

With core values of pride, quality, integrity and innovation, which were identified by members of the team itself, GCH are dedicated to being a great place to work for all members of staff.

Chief Executive Ashley Green is a massive part of what GCH stand for, inspiring his team and the whole organisation to deliver a service and culture that improves lives and communities. Ashley also has an enormous sense of fun and ability to make people smile - even playing Father Christmas at the organisation’s family festive party.
