About Golden Lane Housing

Golden Lane Housing (GLH) provide housing for people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible. Since their inception in 1998, the organisation has invested £98.1 million transforming the lives of over 1,700 people with a wide range of needs in more than 750 properties across the UK.

Each year, GLH house over 100 people, and continually look to find innovative ways to provide suitable housing solutions in an ever-changing society.

Through its values of choice, opportunity, respect and empowerment, the organisation aims to create a positive and supportive place of work for all employees. Time off is given to any individual with caring responsibilities in the event of an unexpected incident or problem involving those they care for, in order to make any necessary longer term arrangements.

Director Alastair Graham has headed the organisation since February 2011, and has led the continued development through fostering new partnerships, while leading further improvements in operational efficiency and delivering a sustainable programme of growth.
