The Leader has developed a robust senior management team structure and put their trust in this team to manage the business day to day. The Leader is also available to all managers via an open door policy and is involved in monthly management meetings to provide support and feedback. An open and honest environment has been created that is all inclusive with opinions valued from any employee within the organisation. All senior managers also work within open plan offices amongst their respective teams.

Granby is very keen on ensuring that employees have a good work life balance. The majority of employees work in operational areas that are very much shift pattern driven and there is very little requirement for additional hours. In areas that do require flexibility, line managers work closely to offer support directly or through other members of the team and offer additional time off in quieter periods. They promote wellbeing via some of the social events that are organised throughout the duration of the year. Further work is scheduled for 2010 to introduce more emphasis on healthy eating and getting more exercise.

Granby Marketing Services believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner.They are committed to reducing their environmental impact and continually improving their environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of the business strategy and operating methods. They also support local charities by donating client surplus stock wherever possible. They liaise with local employment agencies i.e. job centre and local colleges to ensure that when they recruit they utilise local resources.
