About Green Room

What is it like to work for Green Room

My Manager
My Manager
Every Manager and team leader in the business has been formally trained (and later coached by their own managers and HR) in how to manage their team members effectively in all respects, including the delivery of work projects in a specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely manner. They are also involved in decisions relating to reward and recognition and the business has implemented initiatives to encourage and enable this (e.g. Their Service Excellence awards as mentioned above).

Personal Growth
Personal Growth
Green Room's Internal Team Development Programme which is made up of a variety of modules that suit different individuals across their organisation. The programme is open to all team members and they aim to ensure that they all attend at least one module a year, as well as other learning & development initiatives (both technical and soft-skills related and external as well as internal). Their learning & development initiatives are closely linked to their overall business strategy and build on programmes that have been run year on year to ensure skills are developed on an ongoing basis and in a consistent and well thought-through manner, across the business as a whole.

My Team
My Team
The Green Room's most recent team building event took place at their last Vision Day. It involved splitting the teams in cross-functional groups and setting them a task which incorporated elements of each of their roles whilst encapsulating creativity (the focus of our business) at it's core. The aim of the session was: *Embed some of the key themes shared in the morning sessions * Encourage team members to 'think freely' and come up with initiatives that could positively impact the business * bring the teams closer together * enhance individuals' understanding of one another's roles in the business and how to work with one another's strengths to maximise results across the board * develop some competitive spirit in a fun way * Encourage teams to look at issues and opportunties for the business and come up with new solutions & initiatives The event was a complete success in terms of bringing the teams closer together and enhancing understanding and overall working relationships.
