Griffiths & Armour have had an employee assistance programme in place for well over ten years. They actively promote this through posters and leaflets and whenever they are made aware that somebody might be in need of some additional support, be it as a result of work or non-work related issues, they take the opportunity to proactively remind them of their access to this benefit. Since 2011, they have offered annual flu vaccinations to all of their people. This has also proved to be a popular initiative with well over 50% of employees taking advantage.

Griffiths & Armour have always taken a view to not only fund raise for local and national charities but help in the form of volunteering. Their local charity KIND has a Christmas campaign each year to raise funds for Christmas hampers and toys for families in the local community and a number of staff volunteer to help pack those hampers and deliver them to the families in need. Staff members have also taken part in bag packing events in local supermarkets.

At their discretion and as an added ex-gratia benefit, the partners have a history of granting all employees additional paid holiday over the Christmas period as a reward for another year of hard work and effort. This benefit is always positively received and a valued initiative.
