About Hakim Group

Established in 2001, the Hakim Group work principally within the optical industry, despite recent diversification. They offer practitioners the ability to run their own business with the freedom normally enjoyed by independents alongside the rigorous back-office support of a large company.
Under Chief Executive Officer Imran Hakim, the group have earned a nationwide reputation for innovation, whether clients are looking to sell an existing optometry practice, buy into a new opportunity, or have an opportunity requiring investment and expertise.
It’s a hybrid approach that ensures each practice benefits from the best opportunities – a win-win situation for business owners and patients alike.
Based in Darwen, Lancashire, with 62 employees, the group currently has a strong portfolio of more than 65 independent optician practices.
