Handle Recruitment connect clients in exciting industries with exceptional people. They’re deeply invested in their brands, understanding each client, market and culture inside out, and cast their net beyond those who are actively looking.
It all began in 1978, in the Music Industry. Today, the company provide entertainment companies, social networks, global media brands, sports bodies, retailers, and digital technology providers with a constantly evolving range of services.
Founded by Stella Walker, with Peter Tafler as Managing Director, Handle Recruitment is based on London’s Oxford Street. More than 80 staff are structured into teams that reflect the way clients operate.

The Managing Director and HR Director meet monthly with managers to discuss financial performance, staff issues and how to resolve them. Bi-annually, they meet managers for personal development plan meetings to encourage managers to explore their own career aspirations.

Handle Recruitment run ‘huddles’, where teams gather in pods to discuss successes. There’s also an annual trip to Barcelona to celebrate reaching business targets and the company pays for Friday drinks to encourage team-building and communication.
Giving Something Back
Giving Something Back
Handle Recruitment’s consultants work with the Amy Winehouse Foundation to deliver ‘Employability Workshop Masterclasses’. They also back Music Support, a start-up charity helping musicians and individuals to overcome addictions, and Haringey Shed, a performing arts company for young people.
