About Hickory's Smokehouse

Hickory's Smokehouse provide food, drink and great southern hospitality to all guests of all ages.

The whole story started almost ten years ago when the founder, was first seduced by the sights, sounds, soul and tastes of the deep South on a road trip across the Southern States. The founder fell in love with their attitude to food and unbridled hospitality and knew it had to be shared.

A few years and eight restaurants later, the passion for all things Southern is evident in everything that they do, from the gracious hospitality the moment you step into the restaurant to your last spoonful of S'mores. This attitude and philosophy are what makes Hickory's a unique place to work in, everyone plays a pivotal role from interacting with guests, cooking 1000's of dishes, serving countless drinks and encompassing everything that they strive to achieve as a business.

Hickory's look for real people with real personalities and hand-pick their teams, not because of fancy CV's or impressive qualifications but because they have great personalities and embody the qualities that they love.

Hickory's believe that being part of the team is the start of something exciting for every team member, offering the opportunity for career progression, training, coaching and development is there for anyone that wants it.

What is it like to work for Hickory's Smokehouse

All senior management are fully trained in all aspects of their restaurants and will always support teams during busier periods. It is not unusual to see the Managing Director serving guests in a section on a busy shift.
