About Hilti (Gt Britain) Ltd

Hilti GB are a Liechtenstein-based multinational group that develop and manufacture products for construction, building maintenance and mining. The main focus is on anchoring systems, hammer drills, firestops and installation systems.
Martin and Eugen Hilti began the story in 1941 with a mechanical workshop in Schaan, Liechtenstein. Martin was trained in mechanical engineering and automotive design.
Today, Matias Jarnefelt is the Managing Director of Hilti GB. The company employs 940 people worldwide - Hilti Northern Europe is headquartered in Manchester, with 600 team members covering roles such as sales, engineering, marketing, finance, HR, IT, procurement and customer services.
The company takes its social responsibility seriously and its four values – integrity, courage, teamwork and commitment – define how teams work together. The company believes in finding flexible ways of working, from a mobile office to working from home. Over 90% of staff say they’re proud to work for Hilti.
