Home Instead are more than a business, they are a family. Home Instead is the UK's no 1 provider of non-medical home care.
They provide relationship-led companionship based care to older people that enable them to remain living at home where they are most happy. The care that Home Instead provide is bespoke to the individual client based on their desires and needs, it is not tasked based.
Visits typically last for an hour or longer so they have time to build a relationship with the client. Clients and CAREGivers are matched together based on interests and experiences and there is continuity of CAREGiver. Their clients often describe their CAREGiver as a trusted friend.
The national office provides an unique family culture where the teams work closely together and support each other. Their twice weekly huddle provides insight into what everyone is up to during the week and provides the platform for open communication.
The wellbeing of their staff is paramount, therefore there are various wellbeing focused offerings available to their national office team which include a free healthy lunch on a Monday, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, wellbeing sessions as part of their 'Empower Hours', and a monthly wellbeing allowance. Everyone's birthday and special occasions are celebrated and the service anniversaries are recognised at the huddle on a monthly basis.
