About Hydrock

Bristol-based Hydrock was founded in 1995. They’re a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and specialist land remediation contracting business employing more than 500 people UK-wide.

Hydrock have 20 offices, including in London, Manchester, Cardiff and Southampton.

Hydrock were awarded a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Medal following five consecutive years of Gold Award wins. last year, they also won four more RoSPA Gold Awards for safety procedures across the business.

Led by Founder and Managing Director Dr Brian McConnell, Hydrock takes a fresh approach to engineering, which it calls ‘valued engineering’. The principle is to focus on the wellbeing and motivation of the employees. Hydrock believes that creating the right environment will encourage a dynamic and entrepreneurial approach that leads to great results for clients.
