About Inspire North

Inspire North are a mental health charity providing a wide range of life-changing mental health and wellbeing services throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Inspire North aim to be a values led organisation, where from the Board of Trustees, through to the CEO, right down to the front line, behaviour is aligned with the organisations values of: People; Integrity; Collaboration and Passion - making the Inspire North Group a great place to work.

The charity firmly believe that the most valuable asset they have is their employees. Employees at Inspire North are invaluable assets in achieving their vision: 'creating a world where everyone matters'.

As part of their reward and recognition strategy, one example of how Inspire North continue to reward employees for their efforts is through their 'Wow Reward and Recognition Scheme'.

The 'Wow Reward and Recognition Scheme' is both unique and effective. It has been designed to motivate, engage and encourage positive behaviours amongst employees which reflect the organisation's values. The scheme involves employees filling-out a postcard which has been designed to capture the 'Wow moments' within their everyday work. Employees are encouraged to fill-out a postcard when they have observed exceptional performance within the workplace. Once completed, the cards are displayed on staff notice boards for everyone to see.

Inspire run a 'Future Leaders Programme' which is an intensive 3-6 month programme to develop leadership and management skills. It is designed for individuals who want to progress into management and have a passion, commitment and work ethos aligned to the organisations values.
