About Inspired Outsourcing Limited

Inspired Outsourcing are a growing, Newcastle-based contact centre established in 2013. They describe themselves as a ‘canny bunch of people trying to be a little bit different as an employer’.

Inspired Outsourcing are experts at acquiring and retaining customers for their clients. They become an extension of the client’s brand and foster a close-knit working relationship with total transparency.

Under Managing Director Kevin Hutchinson, the team of around 250 have well-defined career paths and plenty of training and development. Among the current management team, 90% have been promoted internally.

The Inspired Outsourcing ethos is different. They offer full in-house training in the classroom then a 12-week development programme in the ‘academy’. Inspired Outsourcing prefer personality to experience.

The company runs the ‘Inspired Awards’ as part of their staff engagement strategy. This also includes holiday purchase, ad-hoc flexible-working arrangements, city centre car parking, five-a-side football and free fresh fruit.

The company carries out 360 degree feedback surveys to gauge staff morale and how they feel about the company. Managers are set specific KPIs that directly relate to their role, these are measured alongside opinion polls.

Inspired Outsourcing recycle all old IT equipment through a partnership with a local company, and it’s reused within the local community. They encourage staff to car share or use public transport or bikes to get to work.

The ‘Inspired Awards’ reward outstanding work. Staff received their awards at an Oscars-style event. Long-service awards took the form of caricature by a local artist that now sit on a 'Wall of Fame'. Everyone who completes three years’ service will be added.
