In addition to the internal solutions available, external development opportunities are also made available through our employee sponsorship programme for development such as professional qualifications or MBA programmes. Employees are encouraged to maintain CPD logs using an online PDR tool and IFDS looks to support a minimum 50 hours CPD each year. IFDS operates a transparent employee sponsorship policy enabling employees to structure their development through external qualifications. In particular, as an FSA regulated company, particular support is provided for employees gaining Securities Investment Industry exams to enable a competent role structure. IFDS launched its Leadership Programme two years ago and the UK structured programme delivered in-house has gained CMI accrediation, an important achievement.
