My Manager
My Manager
iris makes sure that they have at least 80% of employees objectives on file. They also provide training to ensure their managers are equipped to manage, and write clear SMART objectives. iris hold external objective & review training every 6 months so all managers are aware of how to set SMART objectives and learn how to conduct reviews.Management hold quarterly meetings to ensure all people are up to speed on company performance and direction.They also have a number of platforms to get direct feedback. A reps council, who represent the whole company, and who feed back to the European Board on a quarterley basis. A formal employee feedback program called Have your say, where employees can feed back individually (in confidence) on how the Company is doing. Drop in session with the people team (HR) every wednesday morning.

iris supports employee development through their 'Me, Myself & iris' Programme. This ties in objectives, which then feeds into training, and also pay rise & promotion review board.

My Team

iris have two yearly Europe wide events where they get the whole company together to discuss their work achievements over the past 6 months followed by some afternoon and evening fun. For their Christmas party 2011, they hired a warehouse in Shoreditch and had a Carribean theme, where they served hot & spicy food and had a celebrity guest DJ Their summer party this year was 'Made in Southwark' theme and held in a lovely venue called the Stationers Hall over in St Pauls. Everyone was encouraged to dress up smart and there were all different types of food served along with a seperate casino room.
