JCW provide recruitment solutions and career support to professionals in their five core job markets: risk management, audit & finance, compliance & financial crime, business change & transformation and technology & security.

Set up as a 'one man band' in a living room in Islington, just as the financial crisis was about to bite, JCW was set up with a view to providing an effective specialist recruitment service to clients whilst also providing a particularly enriching and fulfilling environment to its employees.

Over the last decade, the business has grown organically to over 100 people spread across 5 offices with revenues of £30m+.

The business was founded on the core principle that to be a highly successful recruitment firm in such a competitive market, JCW had to be the best employer out there and thus attract and retain the best talent.

Balanced with their focus on profitable growth, JCW therefore provide a particularly enriching environment to employees, where people are able to not only achieve personal financial success but also progress up the career ladder at a particularly fast pace and take on substantial entrepreneurial responsibility as the organisation grows.

My Manager
JCW have a future manager league; an in depth training programme spread across 12 modules that trains new managers who have no previous management experience. This course is designed to not only train the individual how to be an effective manager, but also to allow JCW as a business to assess that individuals fitness to enter leadership.

JCW have a buddy scheme in place where all staff are assigned a buddy/mentor. Usually this person is in a more senior role and more experienced, and they meet once a month off site. The meetings are there to cover both work (providing a different perspective on business challenges) and personal (another outlet to talk about concerns/issues) problems.
