Kantar TNS are one of the largest research agencies in the world, providing powerful insights on unlocking the moments that help clients flourish.
TNS can trace their roots as a market-research company back to 1946, when the National Family Opinion (NFO) was established in the US.
Since then, after various mergers and acquisitions, they became the Taylor Nelson Sofres Group. In 1997, Sofres acquired Intersearch and then merged with Taylor Nelson AGB, thus creating TNS.
Today, Kantar TNS has over 15,000 staff, a presence in over 80 countries and a UK arm in London and Edinburgh under Chief Executive Officer Will Galgey. Clients include Diageo, Volkswagen, Unilever, SAB Miller, Pepsico and the European Commission.
Rewarding employees is a key plank of TNS’s ethos, with two bonus schemes. Rewards are given to those who go over and above, with line managers nominating people to the board. Rewards could be cash, a gift, flowers, champagne or whatever feels most personal to the recipient.
