La Fosse Associates (LFA) specialise in recruiting technology and digital talent from top to bottom. They operate on both a permanent, contract, interim and executive search basis.

Their mission is simple: to build an incredible company by treating people well.

The first piece of training a new-starter receives from their L&D team describes the business's mission, why the organisation was founded and their goal to change the industry. New starters then sit-down with the CEO for this to be communicate personally. Day-to-day, LFA communicate the importance of treating people well at every opportunity: in weekly emails asking for culture nominations, in the CEO's announcements of their awards and every Friday meeting.

L&D is crucial to LFA's culture, from day one of a new-starter's induction to their promotion to director and beyond. Employees receive a career roadmap, aligned to a promotion plan and build a personalised development programme with both personal and professional goals, referenced in weekly 1-2-1s.

What is it like to work for La Fosse Associates

The CEO is rarely out-of-reach on a day-to-day basis. They don't have an office, but chooses to hot-desk, so that they are sat amongst the business, making it easy to approach them for any work-related questions, suggestions or even just to chat.

LFA run the future business leaders six month programme bi-annually to ensure first-time managers gain speed to competence in their role. This is a blend of workshops, on the-job learning, a three day residential trip, learning forums with established managers and leaders in the business and external senior coaches but primarily ran by their L&D team.
