About Lakeland

As experts in cooking, baking, cleaning and laundry, Lakeland stock over 5000 'can't live without' essentials and serve millions of loyal customers globally.

Lakeland was founded in the early 60's and are a family business with the same strong values of quality and customer care now as when it first started. From selling plastic bags for home freezing in Windermere to over 4,000 kitchen and home solutions today.

Thanks to the loyalty and commitment of their colleagues, customers and original, innovative products, they are now an international multi channel retailer with over 60 UK stores, extensive websites and several growing businesses overseas. Their success is due to hard work and a belief that it's the honesty and core values that make Lakeland an extraordinary place to work and shop.

They have built their business on the back of strong values which hold true through every area of Lakeland. Their values are what they believe in, they shape their behaviours and actions and help them focus on doing things the right way.

Lakeland are different from other retailers; their innovative products and memorable customer experiences make the organisation an extraordinary place to shop. Everybody has an important part to play in bringing this Lakeland difference to life for both customers and employees.
