Besides hosting hives, the four-star venue launched the annual London Honey Show five years ago to highlight the plight of honeybees. Founded in 1967, it has 263 staff and general manager Sally Beck expects them all to complete eight hours’ training a month. Last year, 34 employees progressed into new roles. People believe they gain valuable experience for the future here (84%), and feel the training benefits them (81%).
