About Learning Pool

Learning Pool offer a complete learning technologies service, which includes a library of responsive and editable content, Adapt Builder and innovative learning games to improve job performance.

Set up in 2006, under Chief Executive Officer Paul McElvaney, the Derry company delivers a one-stop-shop for organisations looking for online learning to train their employees. Clients include Jury’s Inn, Barclays, the NHS and the Houses of Parliament.

The award-winning team collaborate with customers to deliver real benefits and tangible results. The firm has achieved a 98% customer satisfaction rate and a Gold Investors in People award.

In 2016, Learning Pool took over Mind Click, whose clients include Boots, Procter & Gamble, Google and Sky, bringing the UK headcount to 120.

The team is keen to give back, and works closely with schools and universities to increase access to employment opportunities at Learning Pool. They have a £40,000 university scholarship scheme as well as a Living Wage policy.

Learning Pool has grown significantly and the team is now more than 120 strong. To encourage integration, they’ve brought in a 12-month secondment programme. Four staff will help build team relationships, improve service delivery and increase effectiveness of communications between sites.
