About Leonard Design Architects

Leonard Design Architects are an international architecture and master-planning practice. They design mixed-use projects including residential, retail, offices, hotels, leisure and resorts.

David Leonard formed the company in 2006. He had no office and rented a desk and chair, and started designing with a few drawing pens.

Today, the company’s head office is in Nottingham and it has further offices in London, Mauritius and Sydney. Directors are David Leonard, Mike Nagelsztajn, Ian Staples, Hin Sim, Paul Sutliff and John Morgan.

The firm operates across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, India, Korea, Mauritius and Jamaica. The emphasis is on creating great destinations and maximising potential.

The company has a wealth of experience within the design studio covering all aspects of master-planning, feasibility studies, architectural design and urban regeneration. They’ve worked with some of the leading designers and specialists across many different disciplines.
